Alumni of OSU Law School at Sullivan & Cromwell practice in a broad range of areas within our General Practice (corporate) and Litigation Groups. The Firm’s two partners from OSU Law, David Braff and Bob Reeder, graduated in the class of 1984 and were both elected to the partnership in 1993.

David is a partner in the Litigation Group, a member of the Firm’s Management Committee and co-chair of the Diversity Committee. He was the managing partner of the Litigation Group from January 2004 to October 2012. David has been recognized numerous times as a leading lawyer in Best Lawyers in America, Euromoney’s Benchmark, Lawdragon, New York Super Lawyers and The Legal 500—United States.

Bob is a partner in the Firm’s General Practice Group, co-chair of the Pro Bono Committee and is a member of the Firm's Commodities and Derivatives, Broker/Dealer and Executive Compensation and Benefits Groups.

While maintaining a generalist approach to their practices, OSU Law alumni at the Firm focus on a broad range of matters, including appellate, banking regulation and supervision, capital markets, commodities, futures and derivatives, criminal defense and investigations, financial institutions, financial services investigations and litigation, leveraged finance and lending, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, and securities.

In addition to becoming partners and leaders at the Firm, OSU Law alumni who join S&C go on to pursue a range of prestigious opportunities. S&C alumni who attended Ohio State Moritz Law School currently work in asset management, finance, investigations and enforcement and private practice.

Over the past three years, three OSU Law students have participated in our summer associate program. We hope you will take the time to learn more about OSU Law alumni and how to apply on these pages.
